Find Opportunities

Before you start your search, make sure you are well informed of your options. Use the vendor research worksheet to compare and contrast your choices, and see an ICC advisor if you need help making a decision.

The most effective international internship or job search uses a variety of different search strategies - many are the same as a domestic search. However, we have listed a few trusted resources on this page to help focus your search. The ICC does not formally endorse these programs, so be sure to research the programs yourself to ensure they are right for you.

  • UC Davis Study Abroad
Many summer and quarter-abroad internship options are available.
  • UCEAP Internships
University of California Education Abroad Program provides a wide range of internship opportunities and support.
  • Camp Adventure

Consider exploring U.S. companies and federal agencies that have positions abroad. Teaching English is a common option for working abroad. Always review work authorization guidelines before embarking on a job search in your desired country.
